Buzzing in headphones....

hey. I use a set of JVC wired headphones to listen to my tv late at night. but theres always a slight constant buzzing, especially noticeably during quieter sounds and moments in viewing. its not a massive buzzing but still noticeable.
i have the headphones connected straight into the line in socket on the side of the tv.
Fiddling with the connection has no effect. changing the volume just increases the problem along with the buzzing..
i have a upc modem running under the tv, a ps3 and a sky box.

the headphones are JVC HARX700 and the tv is a Panasonic TX-P50C3B.
I was wondering also if a Digital Analogue Converter or a Headphone amplifier might fix the problem.

    Any suggestions.

Use them into some different pieces of equipment. If the buzzing stops, then it's the TV. I have a Panasonic TV and the headphone output is not the cleanest.

Ye its the TV. Have the same problem with the sharp TV. Ordered a digital analogue converter ago I can use the spdif output. Hopefully that'll work.
