Initial confession: I'm not a vegetarian.

But I have grown very fond of having salads for lunch, and I assume vegetarians know where all the best salads are, haha!
So I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations for good quality and/or cheap salads around the Dublin City area (ideally D8) or anywhere that delivers for lunch.

Also anywhere that might throw a bit of salmon on top would be nice, but I understand if nobody here would recommend that.

I wouldn't say they are the best tasting but boots do a couple of cheap salads for lunch. You can get a salad/roll/sandwich etc with a drink like a smoothie and desert all for 3.99. They have one with Salmon as far as I remember but I usually go for the couscous ones or the falafel wraps

You're probably going to want to go to the city centre for the best options..

Two of the best are Blazing Salads and Cornucopia, not very cheap unfortunately, but you get what you pay for to an extent..

M&S sometimes have multi-buy deals on their (usually good) salads so if you have a fridge at work it can be worth stocking up.

Haven't been in the city for a while so this may all be out of date !

Exactly what i would have said. I just did a 'hit & run' on M&S for todays lunch and nibbles! (including their veggie sushi. BTW Yo Sushi do a fantastic veggie sushi for €7)

"Bite of Life" on Patrick Street are worth a visit too.

If you're just looking for something to take away I love the 'asian beans' and 'morrocan couscous' in tesco, they aint cheap though.
