    good timing. black mesa source just got it's release announcent and I think it needs hl2

    No, orange box is €19 on steam at the moment which is a stupid buy. It's €10 on amazon.co.uk.

    Even HL2 is a bad buy at €9 when you get episode 1 and 2 in the orange box. Bear in mind that TF2 is free and portal has been available free as well so it's not quite as amazing as it once was; still you're getting a fair amount of stuff for that price and you have access to all the mods.
