Just wondering is it normal for a babies nappy habits to change?

My five month old used to do one poo a day and it was semi solid and you could literally time the 24hrs before each poo.

Now she's on solids and teething and has more runny (but not watery) poo.. twice a day and yesterday was three times. ALWAYS first thing in the morning.

She's not out of sorts, crying in pain or off her food.

Does teething do this... or is it more likely what im feeding her doesn't agree with her?

Every morning its ellas kitchen pear apple and rice as she won't eat straight baby rice
and in the evening its my own spud carrot and sweet spud??

    Any advice me very grateful.

J certainly has more dirty nappies now he's on solids, almost every nappy has some amount of poo in it as opposed to one dirty nappy a day. It's not however runny, it's more solid than when he was just drinking bottles.
I've hear alot of people say their babies get runny napppies & sore bums when teeth but so far we've managed to avoid that :-)

My lad can have up to 5 dirty nappies a day now. Teething, eating loads of solids and various fruits. Tis better than being constipated anyway.

our record was 10 poopy nappies in one day once, it was getting a bit out of hand!

depends on teething and a lot of other factors, but we get 3-4 still on an average day.

he likes to have a change first in the morning before he fills his first one, for some reason he won't poo in a wet nappy. :(

sometimes it's just one though, you never know.

he also doesn't like pooing at the child minders so he tends to save them up for when he comes home to us on days when he's with her. :(

    oh the joys. :D
