    Hi all,

I'm just wondering if the collective can advise if there are any half marathons in Ireland in December?

I've had a look online and I know there's Waterford AC half on December 1st but are there any others? (I can't access the ART Diary of Events in work given it's a Google Doc).

    Any info is greatly appreciated!

    The Rook

Sorry, just realised that this should probably go in the main ART Forum, not the Events Forum. Please move if appropriate!

Thanks for that RQ, although it would double my time in travelling from Dublin when compared to Waterford, but it's another one to consider alright!

I'm also looking at half marathon in Dec but €50 excluding admin fee for the clonakilty half is just taking the piss.

That is very pricey indeed for a half. I won't be doing it for sure simply because of that. Clonmel was €25 a few weeks ago and Charleville is between €25 and €35 in a few weeks time. Some race organisers need to get real imo.

Have decided to go with Waterford in early December and have tailored my training schedule to that. After that I take a week or two wind down and then I'll start a program for the Connemara Marathon... that's the plan anyway!
