What about saving 50 grand and putting it all on either red or black in a casino? worst case scenario declare yourself bankrupt like all the other developers, thoughts?

As you posted this at 03.51, i'm a little sceptical that you're serious!

Why would you go to all the effort of saving a very valuable €50,000, only to jeopardise it on worse odds than a coin toss!?

If you can afford to save 50k in 2 years, you're doing much better than most Irish tax payers. Assuming you don't have massive personal liabilites "like all the others the developers".

Personal Bankruptcy is a very grave position for any business man, it's makes future ventures very difficult and i'd imagine nobody facing it takes it lightly.

    There's your first problem imo.

That wouldn't make you like a developer.

To be like a developer you borrow silly phone numbers worth of money throw it all into a bare field some where .... but your idea of save and use your own money????? Amateur ....

Isnt Red or Black the definition of coin toss odds or have I been misunderstanding that for years? Never actually played Roulette now that I think of it...

There's 00 (Green) on the wheel, it's less than 50/50 by a miniscule amount.

Better idea again is to start playing double up, only pay with 1000quid in chips each roll, and each time you loose, double your previous amount, till you win again! Totally flawless system, will make you rich in no time :D

There's 00 (Green) on the wheel, it's less than 50/50 by a miniscule amount.

In the European tables, that one green gives the house about a 3% edge, worse again in the US most tables have 2 green, so house has about a 5 or 6% edge, minuscule might be the word for some idiot who throws 50k all in on the table in one roll, but for anyone who thinks they can win longterm (ie more then 10rolls!) at roulette, this house edge is what will certainly will put the skids on!
