I'd like to try and get my first goose this season, I have a foreshore for most of the east coast but mainly shoot north Dublin area. Is it a realistic option the clock is ticking till the 15th of Oct and the end of the goose season.

It be nice to get one. You definitely won't find the 15th coming

No you can shoot canadian geese nationwide from 1 sept to 15 oct and in Leitrim and Cavan from 1 sept to jan 31 , minus a few lakes and the Shannon .

Good numbers around strangford lough in Co. Down. On upper lough Erne in Fermanagh also holds good numbers. Do great damage to tillage where they frequent, how they ain't listed as vermin as they are in the UK I don't know:confused:.

Easy there isn't enough everywhere like the uk

I've shot loads of them in Fermanagh, they make shíte of the place.

Yes I don't dout you have but that does not change the fact that there not wide spread across the country to earn there vermin status like in England
