My girlfriend is living with me. She's not working though she is hunting for a job everydy. Can she sign on or get anything? We recently moved to Dublin and I'm working.

She can, but if she has never worked she will be mean tested against your earnings. If you earn over about €400 per wee, she will more than lightly get nothing.

You will have to submit detailed evidence of your earnings.
