Possible to get a Bo-Bo engine lighter than 83 tonnes?

    The leading European-built diesel locomotives, Bombardier TRAXX DE and Siemens Vectron DE, both weigh that much. The 121 class weighed 64 tonnes, and the 141 and 181 class weighed 67 tonnes. Where could IE get diesel engines that would not breach axle limits presuming an uptick in economic traffic necessitates a corresponding increase in railfreight?
