vodafone pay as you go in UK??

Will be in London next weekend - need mobile broadband working. Have vodafone pay as you go. Will that work? If not, is there a uk sim I can pick up in a shop on the day - just to provide me with that? (the phone is sim free).

You could get a Uk sim yes, plenty of options. You could get an irish 3 sim, and topup by €20 and have 15gb of data for 30 days. This could be used in ireland when you get home, as well as in the UK. All you need to do is connect on the 3 network in the UK.
