Greece in September/October?

I'm thinking of going to Athens for 4 or 5 days. I've been planning to go there for ages but somehow it never worked out.
And now they have this crisis and strikes... Do you think there is a chance I get stranded there in the next two or three weeks? It feels like I'm going anyway but maybe I've missed some big announced strikes they were planning for the next month.

Any experience about Athens in September/October anyone? Where did you book your hotels/flights?

Well I was in Greece in Santorini at the beginning of September for a week. It was just amazing! We had one of the best weeks of our live! People talk a lot about the crisis and so, but they keep their smile and are very hospitable. So my advice is "Go!" the only thing that you will feel are the low prices ;)
I booked a week through focusgreece and the prices were so low that I even paid using paysafecard.

Well, we have already booked the flights and the hotels on another website but thanks for the hint. Didn't know you could use prepaid cards for booking hotels, I thought it was only good for online gaming and stuff like that.
We're going next week. I decided to go to Athens as I wrote in the beginning but I've read lots of positive reviews about Santorini too. Maybe next time, in spring... I think it's gonna be fun.
I'm so excited about this trip, I cannot even say it in words!
