Im relativity local to Blarney Castle today. Its a Lovely area and the grounds near the castle are kept well but the gardens especially near the lake aren't being used to there full potential imo!!! confused.gif
Like there is a lovely walk around the lake ( which a lot of local people never knew was there or never visited ) but about half way around that lake there is just a pile of dung placed there from the farm, surely they could of found some where else to put the manure!!
And one think i notices is they grow grapes in the castle gardens eek.gif

The manure is probably used as fertiliser for the plants.A lot of people use it for that reason.

I know but could they not have just put it out of sight? In the general area there is no plants, only mature forestry. Like the gardens have the potential to host events and stuff
