    This is insane!

Question is, would you buy an apartment with this option over here?
Supercar owners living in an exclusive high-rise apartment block can now park their beloved motors from their - LIVING ROOMS. Hamilton Parks in Singapore is a brand-new 30-storey development where flats cost between €8 and €19 MILLION. But with parking in the city limited, the skyscraper designer came up with an innovative way of parking some of the planets fastest cars. Residents simply drive their 200mph motors into a biometrically-controlled lift at the base of Hamilton Parks on the city's swanky Orchard Road.

very cool but if could you imagine the cue as you were told to move the car to the left. Ah no, try again. The missus/mistress would then ring you to come and park for her. And then the ding on the new ferrari as she tried to get it parked right. Ah sure its only a car she would say. And with that you look for a new mistress. Too much bother for me......:D

    What happens at rush hour?

Why doesnt he just stay in the car instead of getting out and walking to a different lift?

Then how does he get into his house?

I assumed seeing as the car is in the apartment theres a door? What happens if you leave your wallet in the car and want to order a pizza? Even though you can see it and its just behind some glass he has to go all the way down, call the car, wait, get wallet, sned car back up, get in lift and head back up yourself. Seems like a problem that could be solved with a door. :)

Then it's probably a safety issue, or he just didn't do it for the video :)

If such a problem with parking add another floor or even better go further down add another basement carpark.

If I won the lotto I would buy another car park;)

It doesn't do it for me. No pretty lady in the video.

I think it's great. I would say at a guess that it saves space in the building overall as they don't need space for ramps, pillars and lanes for cars like you'd find in a ordinary multi storey car park so from a financial side it probably makes sense. Car parks like this exist in a number of places, I used one in Augsburg train station in Germany a few years ago.

I like the idea of being able to see your car from the living room, especially when it's a Lambo. A friends grandfather in Germany had a 300SL Gullwing and an Isetta parked in what was essentially his living room (in a bungalow), they were driven a couple of times a week 8 months of the year as well.

I think the idea that you leave the car and take a lift is to save space upstairs, when you look at the video there is almost no space between the two cars so this saves on floor space too, important when building. Overall it's a good idea, looks cool if you have a nice car to admire and I reckon it will catch on big time. Sorting out your rush hour queue is your only problem I reckon.

There seems to be an entrance to the cars from the apartment, you can see this at 1:47 and 1:52.
