Anyone ever use this site for buying a clutch or flywheel?

    They also advertise on donedeal

Did a lot of pricing and they are €100 cheaper than anywhere else, for a 4 piece clutch and flywheel kit (Luk).

They also have some good deals for supplied and fitted. But not convenient for me.

The Saab/Opel/Alfa 1.9tid is quite an expensive job (minimum €850), so can't really afford to get caught out.

I zoomed into the map (find us) on their homepage, but they're inside the Phoenix Park. And no address. Says they setup in 1998. so someone must have used them?

    Cheers.

No address, private domain registration, Wix website, mobile phone number...

    Doesn't look good.

My thoughts now too. Seems a bit unreal they can undercut all the rest by €100.

If they have no overheads it would be very easy to undercut everyone else.

Just checked that site, but it doesn't give a brand name (Sachs or Luk), so might send them an email. Not sure if the clutch kit is a 3 piece either. Cheers.

This is the best place to buy clutch/flywheel kits

    Thanks sc86.

    What's your best price for a clutch kit (3 piece) and a dual mass flywheel for a 2005 Saab 9-3 1.9tid 150bhp (F40)?

And we'll see if its the best place to buy. :)

I didn't go with ClutchkitsIreland.com in the end. No evidence of any feedback, and no landline number or address.

Went with SC Autoparts. The best price I could find on the internet (including UK suppliers). Item arrived the next day with Fastway Couriers, with a cash on delivery option available. Luk flywheel/clutch kit, the same type that were fitted to the car originally. Brilliant service. Lots of feedback available for this company.

It's great to see an Irish company offering good prices and a great service. Seems a bit mad having to get some parts from the UK.

I'd highly recommend giving Stephen of SC Autoparts a ring if in need of a clutch/flywheel. Top guy.
