Hey, what sites can I use to order Sweets like chewing gum etc.. in bulk, also drinks (coca cola).

I don't have a registered business, but I see a few people buy from these places for personal use.

There is a few online, mostly UK based but expensive compared to wholesale prices & costly on shipping. But generally it is cheaper to pick up bulk confectionery at cash & carry outlets. Most C&C's are open to the public.

Really? which ones & where. I have gone into musgraves for a browse before, the public can walk in but not buy but I can get my hands on a card. I have never gone back as it is nearly always more expensive.

I usually find supermarkets are cheaper for lots of stuff, like bars as there is usually a good offer on. Chewing gum might not be.

Amazon.co.uk have a grocery section now with many retail packs. Free post over £25

Amazon.co.uk sell groceries nowadays and most of the offers are bulk. It's still in beta and the range is a bit limited but getting bigger all the time. If you avoid the marketplace sellers and buy directly from Amazon (select the 'FREE Super Saver Delivery' filter when searching) shipping to the Republic is free when you spend over £25. They also have subscription offers on some items where you get a discount for repeat orders. (I buy granary flour which I can't get here.)

A cash and carry can only sell to a registered business otherwise it is in violation to both planning and use and other business in the area woudl stop them very quickly.

As for the value - just watch for special offers in the supermarkets as the savings in cash and carry is quite small unless you can take advantage of their multi buy deals (buy 12 boxes and get 2 extra free type of deals)

I a need to go to musgraves (specialist materials) and their prices on normal everyday household goods / groceries are never enticing for me to add anything to my trolley.

Musgraves is a total rip off, the supermarkets such as Lidl & Aldi are cheaper. Just beside Musgraves in Robinhood ind. est. there is a Cash & Carry called "Trade" used to be called "Aims" they are open to the public about 2 years now. Same area surrounding Musgraves there is Hotlines C&C, Eurotree, Vibe Centre & Brendan's are all also open to then public and there is also a few more just around the corner and in Park West.
