Rate the Race: Round 12 Belgian Grand Prix

So what did everyone think of the race? The big accident at the start made sure that a lot of contenders were removed from the equation in the very early goings but it also gave some of the smaller teams a chance to shine today. The battle for the win never materialised but at least the fight for the other podium spots was intense with strategy playing a key role in the outcome.....

Delighted for JB, but found it hard to watch most of the time. Brought back too many memorys of Vettel last year.
I did give it a seven however, due to some fantastic racing which seemed to liven things up when needed.

Was a strange race. Hard for me to rate. Heart over head. A huge amount of unluckiness, but some fantastic racing. If Button was challenged, might make it easier for me. Overall, I suppose a 6.5/7

Gave it an 8, Delighted for Jensen he needed a win and this should shut up the critics for a while, Crash at the begininng at me hooked, did get a bit boring at times but the overtaking between Shumacher and the others had me on the edge

I don't know what you guys expect of a race to have it rate 10? dry race..

The only thing missing was somebody to challenge Jenson for the win BUT Jenson is not in top points anyway so didn't bother me he won so impressively.

9 from me. Perfect race apart from Button running away with it from the start (although I did like seeing that, it didn't add to the racing) and it was bone dry.

7 from me, obviously the crash was interesting but i enjoyed the race itself.

button ran away with it, challenging for the lead would have probably brought it to 9 or 10 for me.

Hard to rate, good to see Jenson win, accident did take a few good cars out unfortunately. Tv coverage wasn't the best I thought

Thought it was ok, some of Schumachers old antics in that tractor of a car were nice to watch.

Pity that Hamilton and Alonso were taken out at the start, Alonso could have factored in the race.

A grid that promised so much but delivered littl ein the way of differences on the podium, apart fromt he first corner not a whole lot happened. Some decent overtaking but mostly the same simple DRS drivebys and the usual 'management' instead of racing for large parts.

TV coverage was a bit iffy. Whats the point of moving the TV picture away from an overtake to look at the engineers on the pitwall
