Entry to the student bars is with your student card. If your under 18 you're gonna have a big gawky yellow stripe splashed across it and wont be getting in. They are particularly strict on this for the first few weeks especially.
After a while though, this becomes a bit more lax I think. They are hardly gonna employ someone to do the door all day every day.
Dont be expecting to get into any of the college balls or that though with your student card if it has the yellow stripe.
