If you could bring a dead rock star back to life for one gig, who would it be?

John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis, Kurt Cobain, Buddy Holly, Freddie Mercury? Or someone else?

    Cliff Burton.

Id like to hear his opinion on everything post "Puppets". They seem to think he'd love it. I doubt it.

    Chuck Schuldiner, easy.

It may say rock, but Pantera are metal so I'm running with that.

Exactly. I've often had the discussion with mates as to what route Metallica would have taken had Cliff still been around.

John Lennon all the way, alot of the rest died cause of drugs they chose to take themselves but Lennon died not by his own hand.

Euronymous from Mayhem, the guy made a masterpiece of an album and got murdered in his prime.

Hendrix. After all, he only ever recorded three full studio albums when he died and it would have been fascinating to see what direction he would go in next.

Freddie Mercury. I'd give a lot to see just one song live...
Anyways, we are all going to party together when we die.

While my first answer would have been Jimi Hendrix, this is a very, very close second.

Jimi only had 27 years. Frank managed just short of 53 years. I think they're volume of work would be similar. It's funny that they were friends, because their music was both years ahead of their time.

    Jim Morrison.
I've always thought that if it were possible to get into a time machine, the first thing I would choose to do is go to a Doors gig when they were at the height of it.
