Wheel issues

    Basically my wheel refuses to freewheel without grinding to a halt rather quickly.There is also a screeching noise as it spins.The quick release also wont come out.Not looking to carry out any repairs myself just wondering what is causing this.

    Sounds like ball bears fecked or cones too tight.

    if the QR won't come out i would suggest the axle might be bent. the ball bearings will probably be beyond repair and cup and cone contact surfaces are probably past their best as well if this is the case. Solution; new wheel
