I had a temporary bridge fitted on the 23rd August. Told to come back on the 12th September to get the permanent bridge fitted.
An hour ago the temporary fell out (I still have it). Any knowledgeable advice on what to do in the meantime ?
ps. The missing tooth is an anterior (at the front of my mouth).

Have it recemented tomorrow, don't put anything into it and try and DIY it. The teeth may be sensitive but just relax until the morning. This is a common issue, and although it seem dramatic no damage will be done so long as it is seen to tomorrow or the next day. Aesthetically it is less than ideal.

I agree with fitz, but you could also carefully try to reposition the temp bridge back in place (without using any cementing products available at chemists which are useless). If it seats in place nicely it will probably stay there till you get in to your dentist tomorrow.

Thanks people...will ring the dentist in the morning. 10 days of eating fish and salads while dreaming about steaks and rashers then this happens.
Still, I can take up the banjo and do a duet with Shane MacGowan if things don't work out.

Closing this thread now but just for posterity. Dentist saw me at 1.45 PM. Cemented and fixed by 1.50 PM.

Thanks to the above - pints are owed.
