Hi- is Canyon the only bike manufacturer who sells bike directly only, and doesn't engage wholesalers/ shops? With so many bikes bought online from shops, i wonder why other manufacturers don't dump their traditional go to market strategy of using wholesalers and local shops- and reduce price to the consumer/ increase their margins? Seems like Canyon are onto a winner but can't think of any other companies doing the same- who else am I missing?

    Hi

I could be wrong but I think both Ribble and Rose are both Online only manufacturers. There are of course a number of bespoke frame builders too who wouldn't distribute through LBSs.

Basically these manufacturers are just producing the frames as all other components are from 3rd party suppliers - for the most part anyway.
