Hi .i'm using my bf profile . We are getting married in 5 months time.I have my dress got and it is strapless with a corest back on it .The corst back won't cover the strap of a strapless bra so what bra should i use .. I was thinking of thong on my wedding day ,i think they are really comfy. Is this a good idea??.
    Thanks very much :-) Sinead

Would you really need a bra inside of a corset?

Your dress has a low back but is not backless? If so I would highly recommend something like this

I have actually tried this on and it is amazing and very comfortable. My dress is lighting boned front and back. The difference that bra made was unreal especially if you have a larger bust. Is there much boning in the back of dress?

    Hi Sleepy,
A bra under a corset can be a very good idea espically if the corset is a little on the large side at the top. Sometimes it can give you that extra bit of support you may need. Best thing to do is to try it and see as it doesn't work for all corsets.

Sounds like it is just a corset-style back, rather than an actual corset.

You might consider going to a lingerie shop and trying on a few low back corsets. There are a few different styles, and some will be more comfortable than others on.

You could get a bra sewn into the dress during your alterations.

You can get stick-on gel bras, they are not great for anything over a B cup though.

Although my dress was boned, I still wore a bra as I didn't feel comfortable without one. The girls needed to be kept under control!!

It's incredibly difficult to buy a decent low backed bra, isn't it?? I eventually found a Goddess one on the Figleaves website. Looked beautiful, fitted me like a glove, incredibly comfy, and kept manners on the girls. It gave me a great shape too.

Sadly, it seems Goddess don't make that particular bra any more. I recommended it to a friend, and she couldn't find it. But I do know Figleaves do some very nice bridal corsets and bras for all necklines. Might be worth checking that out.
