    Drive T'me

At odds of 1/2 , and 10/1 horse take the win?

    Stating a factual unbiased result?

"People may say, Sure it's all a game of horses, ?"

I think questions need to be asked?

    Open to suggestion?

Prices are not a reflection of a horse's ability.
They are a reflection of a bookmaker's liability on a particular horse winning.

The only question you need to ask is why did you take such a bad price about the horse in question.

Its gambling if all horses won that were favourites we would all be millionaires. Its gambling.

Assuming bookmakers price up all 1/2 shots correctly 1 in 3 can be expected to lose. Seeing as over rounds in Ireland are so staggeringly high it's unlikely each 1/2 shot is priced as "fair"

What I never understand is how when a 1/2 shot gets beat people are shocked but when a 2/1 shot wins nobody raises an eyebrow. If the 1/2 shot & 2/1 shots are correctly priced then the probability of the 1/2 shot LOSING is the same as the 2/1 shot WINNING.

    Thanks for the reply,

It was a bit stupid of me to question the odds I'll admit.
    The ornery loss didn't help

    It's gambling, enough said,

    finished
