Is there any way i can delay the audio sound form an internet stream so it is more in time with 3pm football on sky Italy? Today i listened to today fm online feed but it ws around 1.5 to 2 s out of time.

    Any ideas?

I think its much easier with ipod touch, iphone, ipad or smartphone with "tune in radio" app plugged into a sound speaker source. Works very easily for my for the Today fm and newstalk commentary matches.

I noticed past week the picture is normally behind the natural live radio audio so i can just pause the satellite picture and play it to suit the audio.

You can pause and play to suit with the audio on the "tune in radio" app as long as its the Irish radio stations as the UK stations are blocked for matches.

For me http://www.matthewssoftware.com/AudioSyncer/ is a must. Cost $10 well worth it, there is a trial for 15 days.

Let us know is you get a result.:)

Funny all this talk of radio delay. I have Cyffra I have watched about eight games this season so far and all commentary was behind the picture. So no radio delay ever required just had to pause picture for ten seconds.

Maybe something like Virtual Audio Cable will do what you want. It allows you to route the output of applications within Windows. So you'd feed the the output of your browser to Radio Delay. I haven't used it myself, but it should work.

Sometimes you can paste the audio url into VLC and then pause the audio to line up with the pic. I've had some hits and misses using this method and haven't tried for a long time.

EDIT: Just tried it on http://network.absoluteradio.co.uk/core/audio/wmp/live.asx?service=vrbb - seems to work!

TodayFM is http://streaming.todayfm.com you seem to be able to pause it in VLC

BBC 5L is http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r5l.asx but you cannot pause it....

I did find a setting in Preferences (Show Settings All) called Audio/Filter/Delay

I can't test it but maybe that'll work. Apparently there is also shortcut/hotkeys keys that add delay (Shift Left and Ctrl Left) but I'm using Linux and they don't seem to work for me, so can't test this.

if you use SOPCAST stream you can set the buffer time so they dont, stop or stutter, anything over 1000kbps is good enough to view on a TV, have used em for all my games and have put them on the TV via the laptop

Just an update from myself, I use tunein radio with today fm and Newstalk commentary.

Last week I purchased The sky sports and ESPN collection/package for my Apple IPad. This now gives me live Sky Sports 1,2,3,4 Sportsnews and ESPN all for just €5.49 per month.

This can now plug into my sound system same as iPod so I now have live commentary from iPad and same time I have Canal Sports HD Poland.

Today the match pictures were a minute ahead of the iPad commentary so I was very easily able to freeze the sat picture and array it to correspond exactly together.

I also did same tonight fr the Spanish Primera and worked brilliant.

So for the €160 for the Cyffra sports movies I have loads of live football and for A measly €5.49 per month (no contract) all the Sky sports. The iPad Sky Sports is brilliant I can vanish off to the garden or the shed and watch live football golf etc. :D

can you explain how that 5.49 a month works, do u have to have a full sky as well? this is for a friend. and maybe myself!!

and a link for that sopcast would be great as well

ok found the answer on sky forum

"Do not buy this app if you are not subscribed to the sports channels through your sky box at home like I'm not and thought I would watch it through my iPad.paid the £4.99 only to find it just for sky sports news only.what a joke.there should be something to say its sky sports news only and I wouldn't of paid for it.i will be trying to get my money back"

so its sky full sports plus ipad, = a lotmore than 5.49pm

    I have no Sky subscription.

However I have a UK Sky free to view card and this is registered to me with Sky worth the Uk card.

I registered a username and password and The €5.49 confirmed came out of my ITunes account, not a cent more I'm delighted works a treat. :)

I am talking about the Sky Sports Mobile App and not Sky Go.
It's easy to mix the two apps up but only €5.49 for Sky sports mobile app. I think that app is really meant just for iPhone users but works fine on iPods or iPads :)
