Interface solution needed?!

I have an alesis io26 interface that is firewire. However I have no laptop or pc with firewire ports. Does anyone know a way around this problem. A firewire to usb solution maybe?

Nope. You gotta buy a pci firewire card. Good news is they're cheap as chips.

Although they are common, you need one with a Texas Instruments chipset. Maplin stock them, a brand called ST-Labs. It is clear that it is just a Firewire card with the ST branding as I have seen a few other cards with the same construction, just different stickers.

Firewire can be difficult, so stick to Texas Instruments stuff so ask at the shop.
