    Hi,

Had some repair work carried out recently and the colour does not seem to match. There is a bit of s reddish hue to it.

Was told that this would fade off after about a month or so as the paint on my (5 year old) car would have faded slightly.

Any truth to this or should i get it looked at by someone else?

There'd be some truth to it, but if the mis-match is very obvious, then it wont fade that much. What I recommend you do is give the panel next to it a light polish with something like Autoglym Super Resin Polish, and compare them then....as the area you polished will have restored the paint to closer to how it would have looked brand new. If there is a mis-match then, I'd look into it further!
