Getting Phoneline Installed

    Hi

My house is at the end of very long driveway, about 150 meters.

When I built the house Eircom installed a wireless phone line. meaning they attached a transmitter to the side of my house, so I could have a phone. This worked grand for the phone, but obviously broadand didnt work over this link.

I didnt really need a phoneline so I have since got rid of it, and transferred my phone number to voip.

However, having tried many wireless interent providers in the area, I am fed up of having a crappy unreliable broadband service, and would like to get a proper phoneline installed.

What would be the best way to do this. I am willing to run whatever cables needed myself.

Would eircom install the phone line at my gate, then maybe I can run the broadband from my gate to my house using cat5, or maybe wire-lessly.

I am not interested in the phone, just broadband.
