    My first choice for the CAO this year was Science in Trinity, because I wanted to be able to take geography and biology as part of the same degree. NUIM used to offer biology as part of Arts, and I know that you can take an arts subject with Biological and Biomedical sciences, but only for the first year. I want to be able to teach biology and geography to LC level.
    I checked the time table for Biology in the science degree, and it doesn't clash with anything on my timetable for Arts.
    I know it's a long shot, but do you think there is any chance that I would be able to take the biology module as well as my arts degree, and keep Biology, Geography AND Irish on until third year? Or is that just impossible?
    Any ideas?

    As far as I know, it's not possible to keep three arts subjects on past first year. I highly doubt it is possible!!

    Best bet is to ring Admissions and ask about Biology and Geography together.

    I know there is options to take subjects outside your chosen degree for all students,pending approval from the relevant departments but other than that I've no idea though keeping 3 subjects 'till 3rd year would be fairly intensive I'd imagine!
