    www.blogify.org

11 months since I began the project. 4 months since I put a thread up. I've done a lot of changing behind the scenes and added a lot of features to the site. The most recent update involved a total rework of the database schema, which a total refactor of the code, all ~8k lines of it.

I'm still working out the kinks since the update but it now allows both text posts and image posts which provide a little bit more targeted navigation.

That would you like to see improved upon? What's broken? What do you hate? And if at all possible, what do you love?

    Thanks guys.

Still looks like a website from the late 90's. The blue background feels very windows 98.

Quite a narrow fixed width. Should be more fluid to respond to different screen sizes.

You are using a yahoo email address! Shall I give you my @eircom.net address in return? Come on, you have a domain, use google domains and get professional email addresses set up so the whole thing looks less amateur.

Not that I like website with images everywhere but this is very "texty" to the point of looking quite plain and boring. There's no character or personality to it.

    Good luck.

When i read about upgrading with 8k lines of code i was expecting something that looks less like a 10 minute install of Wordpress and a template.

The site is up 11 months and you still use the word euro rather than the € symbol.

Please give me a description of what you want the site to do? Is it like a blog directory for other peoples blogs or a reddit type social sharing site or something?
