road bike for 11 year old

    My 11 year old son is looking to start road biking . I am looking for a bike for his size. Any help or directions would be appreciated

    What size is that? My 11yo is 5'7" so I just got him an adult bike.

    RT66 got there before me! My 10 y/old needs to upgarde from this http://www.islabikes.co.uk/bike_pages/luath24.html after 2years and I'll prob go for Luath with the 700c wheels. Highly recommend Isla bikes.

    They are some sweet looking machines, my son is looking for an upgrade, he is 8 but based on the prices he would have it till he was 20....when he can pay for his own!!

    Thanks for that, yes looks like a good company. How did you find ordering/delivery etc and bike itself?

    A couple of years ago now but very straight forward. Think I printed and faxed over order. They rang back for credit card details and to confirm order. Arrived by courier about 8/10 days later. Just had to fit wheels and pedals.

    Sterling is a killer at the moment but I think they are very well priced.
