It's just outside Glencullen village, on the road to Enniskerry. 1km long, 9.4% gradient.

From the crossroads at Johnnies Foxes Pub if coming from Tallaght/Rathfarnham side turn right, from Lamb Doyle's / Ballyedmunduff head straight or from Kilternan turn left. Otherwise head up from Enniskerry towards Curtlestown/Glencree and there's a right turn along the way signposted for Johnnie Foxes.

Don't bother trying to plot a route up it using google maps or mapmyride (unless it's been fixed recently) as neither seem to recognise that full section as a through road and they take a long way around to avoid it!

FYP. The first 100m just after Glencullen bridge going up to Johnnie Foxes is closer to 20% on a corner. The Elbow.

It's funny how these places never seem as impressive on street view as they do when you're about to keel over on the way up...

Personally I think it's a better climb coming from the other direction!

From Enniskerry village head, towards Glencree, up Kilgarron Hill. Then 1st right at the top of the hill (approx 1.75kms from village). From there it's straight to Johnnie Foxes via the Devil's Elbow!
