In my portal theres a number of headings: Student Record Update, General DCU News, Todays Events etc.... One of the headings is in red and is "Registration Links" under it is a link saying click here to register online.

Anyone else having problems registering? Went to pay earlier and told I had €6674 outstanding and the amount now due is €1163. Not that I'm really complaining about having to pay less but I'd rather pay it while I have it.

Amount outstanding is always a crazy sum like that even if you don't have to pay it. Just make sure you pay what you are supposed to and don't worry about that figure.

Have you clicked on Step 4 or a later step in the navigation column on the left?

Is it giving you a reason/error why you can't move on?

Ive gotten past everything now but when i go to payment of fees like above the amount due €1163 but the outstanding figure is €7290. I thought college fees were just €2250. Also would the grant not cover these fees?

Did anybody else register and not receive a confirmation email? It says that I'm already registered on the registration thing when I click into the registration tabs but got no email and it says on the website that if you do not receive an email then you're not properly registered?! gah typical for this happen to me!

For continuing students when you want to register it asks you for a username and password. Is that the same username and password that you use to access my portal and your dcu email or is it a different username and password you use there because my normal one doesn't work.

Cos my friends confirmation email went in there, he's in a different course though.. aghh just want confirmation so I know I'm done properly :P

Maybe try the original (if you have changed it).

It's completely provisional..On mine it says I have lectures with a lecturer who left last year. It's just sort of a rough idea for hours so don't dwell on it too much:) as far as i know the proper timetable is up the 17th September :)

Its not provisional at all. The current timetables are last years.

The new timetables will not be available until the Monday of Orientation week and will be provisional up until the end of Week 2.

Does a grant cover the fee that you are given when you finish the registration process?
