Third Party Credit

Does anyone know what a third party credit is?

I got my bank giro in the post today and my list of fees.

    Basically it reads as:

    Registration tuition: 704.00
    Registration fee: 2250.00
    Third Party Credit: -704.00

    Amount due: 2250.00

AFAIK I'm not getting free fees this year and I still haven't heard anything back from SUSI so just wondering what this Third Party Credit deduction is...

Presumably it's something to do with administration in your fees office

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

When you say your not getting free fees this year, I presume you've done a course previous?

If so, your previous college may not have drawn down state funding for tuition fees, which allows your current college to claim them now, and hence the credit.

I'm not too sure if thats it, but as snubbleste said, your college would be the best place to find this out.
