Just want to wish everyone the best of luck tomorrow.
It has been a long 7 months off but that will all change tomorrow :D

Make sure you have your check list done out and ticked off before going to bed tonight. You don't want to be going after deer and forget your bolt :p

For some lads this will be the first time out with their dog after training so just remember be patient with them and don't lose the head. They will come into their own as the season goes on.

We look forward to hearing all the success and mishap stories from the day.
Most importantly know your ground and backstops and remember safety.

Taking a half day myself to make sure all the gear is ready for the lake.

I'm already looking forward to the fry up for breakfast with the father, brother and all the shooting buddies. The slagging about missed shots :D

    Have a safe one everyone

I hope to get out tomorrow evening after work.
I dunno if I'll try my spot for duck as I'm sure it will have been shot by a few by the time I get out so I might just go for a snipe instead.

Up at 4am this morning for some Duck in some nice Marsh Land! was a quite first day but still managed to bag 2 Duck!! My cousins 9 month old Springer was excellent on her first outing! retrieving the first in heavy march land and the second over water! Here's to a good season!! :)

Just in after been on the River Barrow not even a sign of a Duck brought the Springer her first season had three hours of walking with her so not a total loss came away with her doing a little more so no shots fired but enjoyed the few hours early rise in the morning for another try but I think it's too mild at the moment.
