Hey all, just saw these on Scan.co.uk and taught to post them here. They had a deal on before for some Kingston SSD's and now again they have an even better deal. I think this is now due to the fact that Scan and Kingston are now partners. They also have a deal on for RAM as well.

Anyway, check them out with the links below.

    240GB version is £129.98

    120GB version is £64.98

    Kingston Memory HyperX Genesis 2x4GB - £28.00

These are amazing SSD's and the specs really speak for themselves. The 120GB or 240GB would be an amazing upgrade for a boot drive on a computer or better yet then 120GB would be amazing in a laptop.

Just spotted that Samsung are giving €20 cashback for 256GB SSDS.

    For example:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-256GB-6GBPS-Desktop-Basic/dp/B007BBQQ04/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1346422535&sr=8-1

    Details of cashback:

    http://www.samsung.com/uk/tab2cashback/tandc.html

    "Claim £20/€20 Cashback on SSD models: MZ-7PC256B/WW, MZ-7PC256D/EU, MZ-7PC256N/EU."

Comes in about €170 after cashback including delivery and desktop kit, good deal?

Delivery is 13 Sterling which is steep.

So for the 128GB SSD it's about €99

The same drive is €103 on dabs.ie with free delivery so a little savings alright...

Just got an email from Scan.co.uk and they have another SSD offer, this time on SanDisk SSD's

    120GB - £59:99

    240GB - £119.99

Performance wise, I doubt you would notice a difference between these the Kingston SSD's. Really does show that SSD's are falling in price rapidly and becoming more affordable. I remember when a 240GB SSD would set you back over €400 and it would be nowhere near the performance we get with them now.
