    hi, i am new at this so sorry if this sounds bad :P

    does anyone know how much minecraft is to buy?
    can it only be bought on the net for a laptop ?

    It's 20 euro to buy and you get your own account. You then download the client programme and login using the activated account. Played on either a laptop or a desktop.

    It is 20 now that it is the full game it used to be cheaper during the earlier beta version's but its worth getting a great fun game it is also available on the Xbox :)

    if so where in the websiite would i find the client programme.

    im getting a laptop in two days and cant wait to play it :).

    and also the wesite is american so will it work on an irish laptop?

    Go onto minecraft.net and follow the instructions. It's simples.
