Would any of ye know would it be possible to get back cycling a distance of 10-15 miles in a period of 4-6 months after badly tearing cartilage in the knee?

    Thanks.

I think you need to talk to your physio or doctor about that one. It depends on the tear and how it was repaired.

would it not be best to get to a gym and cycling the length on a bike so if it does come at you, you dont risk the chance of fallen off the bike causing more injury

Oh my God, oh my God the sky's going to fall in. Someone asked a question that can slightly, remotely be construed as having medical undertones. Oh my God who will save us. Where is the Big Beasty Bible of Rules and Regulations. The cyber police are monitoring us. Save us someone, save us.

MOD VOICE: It is not "remote", it is medical advice, end of.

OP, talk to your physician/surgeon/care team, medical advice, no matter how trivial is still medical advice. Hope the recovery goes well.
