So say you and your friends are bored and want to 'go for a spin' in the evenings?
    What routes do people suggest?
Where has good views in the dark?

Around the back of Howth and up to Howth Summit.

View point is nice, just watch for the few dodgy people having a bit too much fun.
The Blue Light is nice, as is Johnie Foxes.

There's loads to be found, just head of the mountains and explore, it's a playground for site seers.

The viewpoint near Cruagh has really good views, and you can head into the mountains and drive down towards Wicklow, then onto the N11 and back into town.

In addition to the above. Head out along the coast via Clontarf with possible stop on the Bull Island. Then around Howth Head with stop off at the Summit Inn, Summit Car Park for the view, Howth village or harbour for walk, drink and/or food (Pier House/O'Connells for the sunset. Then along the coast to Malahide and back around the airport to Ashtown.

Another spin I would go on is down the docks to the Topaz it's got a 24 hour deli and is one of the biggest if not the biggest petrol stations in the country.

Got myself a pizza there the other day and was watching sky sports 1.

Howth is also good, Portmarnoc into Malahide.

    Airoport, Swords run.

Town on the weekends after about 1 am, drunk people everywhere making an awful show of themselves !
