    Hi Guys,

Are there any people interested in the above Charity Cycle?

The route covers some roads that you cycled on during Tour de Kilkenny :).

    Details here.

I unfortunately can't make it down to KK for this. It looks like a nice route and the money is going towards a good cause.
Best of luck to everyone taking part and I hope the weather is nice :)

It was such a fantastic day that I do not know where to start...

First of all, thank you Rosie, John, Willie and all organisers and volunteers for such a brilliant Event. I seriously do not know how could you make it any better...
And honestly, after completing a couple of other well known sportives this year, I think that this little Kells Charity Cycle was in a Class of its own!

Everything, starting from the sign-in procedure, website design and information provided, hospitality before and after the cycle, friendliness of people, drinks, food (wow, that was in a different league all together - two soups to choose from and that phenomenal idea with Irish stew, mmm...), road marking, technical support, marshaling, the warm atmosphere of the local community... all was absolutely top notch. And it was way above the level that some of us would have expected, which was a very pleasant surprise. And all done for a great cause.

For anybody who missed this Event, you can put a mark on your 2013 calendar already :). You will not be disappointed and you will feel proud of supporting your local community.

All The Best and see you next time.

PUT THIS ONE IN YOUR DIARY FOR 2013!

Excellent route- much of the Tour de Kilkenny in reverse without the real steepest stuff but with a few extra long climbs.

Most impressive though was that every corner on the complete route was marshalled. Some feat for first time event.

Friendly , efficient , great atmosphere. Loads of food, message at the finish and great to see a family spin (7.5km) included that was really well supported.
Plenty of the 110k riders finished, had a bite and then rode the family spin with the kids.

Even got the weather right- cracking day. Well done all
