    I think there are a good few on ebay for you to retrofit your bike. The legality of them is another issue altogether.

    OP, are you referring to a petrol engine? I'd grudgingly accept an electric motor, but an engine is just wrong!

    I live in the country on a gentle 2km hill which I have to get up when out cycling to get back home, however a lad that works in the local sawmill at the bottom has a little petrol engine strapped to his bike and zooms up every day ...

    No respect for him!:D

    I caught up with a petrol engine bike on my commute a couple of days ago, really not too impressed with their performance. He maxed out at about 28kph, even downhill. A lot of noise and a lot of ugly for nothing.

    The bike and engine was $40, its not running at the min, little project for me. Its a 50cc 2 stroke engine.
