Ultrasonic club and grip cleaning

I thought it was a bit of a scam but a guy in Mitchelstown has just bought an ultrasonic bath and as he is in the golf club, I said I would give it a go for the sake of a tenner.
The clubs came up brilliant but the thing that really impressed me was the grips. They regained their tackiness and feel like they did when I first bought them.
If anyone wants to try it out,PM me,I have his number. He is living in Mitchelstown and will do them while you wait. It takes about 20 minutes for a full set.

I've seen All18bandit's clubs and to be fair they look like new! Gonna get my own done, anyone else tried it? I'd be a bit wary about long term consequences(rust!).

the link shows a bigger version of the one in Mitchelstown, but does the same job.
€10 per set of clubs and grips.

I was in Portugal last week playing and seen this at Vila Sol. Thought it was a gimmick so never bothered. Might have been worthwhile now in hindsight.

Was just looking at Aldi website

They have this from Sunday 27th

Might be worth a punt at only 25 notes....of course I plan to test on the old clubs first

Just use Vanish Oxyaction instead, is nearly as good on the club heads at least. (not used on grips yet.)

Use the powder stuff in water and just leave to soak for a while. really cleaned up the grooves which in my case are usually caked in mud as not the best for cleaning my clubs regularly

Bucket, Hot Water, Dishwater tablet, 20minutes soak, quick scrub, quick wipe, done

How the f**k does anyone let their clubs get that dirty they need to put them in buckets of water, ultrasonic cleaners etc.... let alone be able to play with them?

Clean the groves after each shot and give the head a wipe down with a towel. If it's wet, carry 2 towels - one for cleaning and drying off. Most I'll ever need to do is clean the grips once in a while but I'm not convinced it makes that much of a difference.
