Unfortunately I am withdrwing my offer without having seen the frameset. The reason is that I have decided to buy a new bike which I have got a good deal on today rather that build up this frameset.

I still think this is a very desirable framset and would have made a great project.

What length is the top tube? It's a good looking frame, but I think it'll be too small for me.

    Hi Dave
It's slightly sloping but measures straight across 55cm. The seat tube is 54cm

I won't quibble about the tenner so, but could you measure the seat tube length and head tube length for me too? If they're reasonable for me, then I'll definitely view over the weekend with a €160 offer there.

    Hi Dave

The seat tube is 54cm from the top of the seat clamp to the center of the bottom bracket
The head tube is 14cm without the Headset cups and 16.5cm from the top of the headset to the bearing race on the fork if that makes sense?

The fork steerer is 230mm, its also a full carbon fork. It looks alloy in the pic but its a sleeve for a 1 1/8th stem

It makes perfect sense, thanks for that. I fear it might be a bit too small for me, although a 55cm top tube sounds like it could be just about ok... I'll compare against my own frame tomorrow. Thanks for the info, I will view over the weekend.

Collected today, and in a side by side comparison to my "good" bike, it seems close enough to only require a long stem. Lovely frame, easy sale. Thanks a lot Mark, pleasure doing business!
