Computer Geometry Check

    Hi folks,

    Tyre change on a car recently and there is a €50 + vat charge for Computer Geometry Check.

    Is this a made up charge or a legitimate check and is that a reasonable price?

    You shouldn't be charged just for a check, only if the wheel alignment is actually done.

    €50+vat would be normal enough depending on what type of car you have.

    Oh ok.
    Is it just another phrase for a wheel balance/allignment?

    Its another way of saying wheel alignment, wheel balancing is a different thing.
