    Hello,

Doing a clear out and just wondering if anyone knows where in Galway a mattress and a bed base could be recylced.

Also a couple of electrical bits- an old portable t.v, a cooker roof, and a kettle?

    Suggestions hugely appreciated.

try calling the council - they will come pick up items and get rid of them for you - there is a small charge but it takes the hassle out of it, they do all the work.

Aye, there is a Bulky Goods Collection service.
The service is intended for householders who wish to dispose of individual household items, such as furniture or large electrical items.
Price list and more info in the above link.

if i was you id go to a hardware store and buy a saw for a €10 if its a wooden base.
chop it up (spend an hour or two and its exercise) and use it as fire wood.
if i knew you lived near by, id pick it up. no transport so would have to be very close
