My wife has the Galaxy Y. Personally I would not recommend it as the battery life is very poor and if you look on other forums the reception can have issues. I have the motorola defy mini and find it fairly good.

is the motorola defy available on meteor?
i should've stated it's for meteor network & i'm not looking at modifying it.
just looking for a nice budget phone around the €100 mark that will run a few apps & games for the gf

Maybe a second hand HTC Desire? They are around the 100-150e mark and are a very decent phone!

would it be best to get that on amazon for second hand?
might still look for first hand as it's to be a bday pressie so won't as little as possible to go wrong :o

you would be mental to buy a second hand galaxy over the huawei tbh.

get a free sim off another network to get 20eu off by "porting"

and another 10eu back via fatcheese

I have the galaxy mini I hate it battery life is crap and it can't use alot of apps and games lag a good bit. The Sony Xperia Tipo looks good but I haven't read any review yet.
