Problem updating S3

    Hi All,

    I've not been able to update my S3 to the LFB Firmware either through Kies or via the phone itself.

    My phone is on Meteor, and LF2 at the moment, any help would be appreciated!

    what error is kies giving?

    You running stock fw?

    Both say I have the most up to date version, but the update is out there.

    I am also running stock too.

    I have got USB debugging on yes.

    I have the same problem with or without USB debugging. I'm with emobile but its likely the same phone stock so I suspect there may be a tranche of phones they've been lax about pushing the update for, as some people have gotten it.

    I've posted on the emobile let's talk forum to no avail. Getting very close to flashing a stock one with Odin tbh as it requires no root and should then receive updates promptly too.

    I'm on meteor as well and am on the same firmware. Has anyone on meteor gotten a newer fw?

    I'm on meteor.

    Running LG8 (LH1 modem) - updated via kies a few/2 weeks ago.

    Once you flash with Odin you can't ever flash with Kies again, not that its such a deal breaker to be without kies. Don't know if the same applies to OTA updates.

    Ok thats annoying, I would have assumed all Meteor customers would be running (or have the option to upgrade to) the same fw. I bought the phone in CarphoneWarehouse but that would hardly make a difference I would assume.
