Realy nice to see 1st class on an Emirates A380. Bit of a sleazy vibe off yer man though, especially when the Irish hostess was tucking him in at the end.

I'm all for showing footage of aircraft interiors but I have bit of a thing about this guy deciding he is allowed to wander around the aircraft videoing all the other passengers in the Business/Economy class cabin. While it is a bit of an assumption on my part he looks to be one of those "I have rights and can do whatever I want" people you love to meet.

And I could very much have done without him videoing himself in the shower onboard....a simple dry face into damp face split would have been fine for me.

I'll be doing that flight in a couple of weeks (in Economy ). I must keep an eye out for Emma, see if she can smuggle me into first class.

I've seen a lot of twisted stuff on Liveleak but for some reason that video made me want to puke. That guy is sleazy.

I flew on the first leg of that flight from Dubai last month in Economy. It was a pretty comfortable flight even down in Row 57 on the lower deck!

I was bumped to Business class on the Dublin-Dubai flight on the 777 though and First doesn't seem to be that much different. Yeah you've access to a shower and a more enclosed space but the difference in price is huge.

I was very surprised at how quite the engines were at takeoff.

I thought Airbus engines were generally quieter (comparing the A330 to the 737 anyway?) But I suppose considering the size of the A380, it's impressive if it is really quiet

Airbus don't make engines... and at that, there's no guarantee that a specific type of plane has specific engines or that different planes don't use the same.

The A380 uses either Engine Alliance or Rolls Royce engines; the A330 uses General Electric, Pratt & Whitney or Rolls. The 737NG uses CFM and the Airbus A320 can also use the same CFM - or IAE.

100% agree. I'm sure Thailand suited him down to the ground too.
