Apparantly its pure water pressure and chemicals..no swirl marks, scrathes and water spots !!

THey give the car a hand wash first, the brushless car wash on It's own is next to useless.

I went to wash world and it wasn't touchless
A dude (tried) to use a sponge on mine.
Wouldn't go back unless it has changed tbh.

There is a touchless one on the south link at the esso which is handy for a quick wash.

If it is like other touchless washes they work well if the car is just dusty. Anything stuck onto the car and not all of it will be removed. I use a local one weekly in good weather if the car has a decent coat of polish/wax/sealant on it making it easier to remove the dirt. If you keep on top of the washing of the car and the prep work they have their uses.

    Otherwise I wouldn't bother.

How is your protection after the wash? By the sounds of it, the chemicals they use would strip it all.

i used them once..and once only
i was given a groupon voucher as a gift

had to go back for a second wash after complaining that the car still has massive sections unwashed.

the excuses varied from , the machine malfunctioned to that my car was recently waxed thus their washing detergent ran off etc

I used them once (twice including the rewash the same day ) and wouldn't return again.

If you want a proper wash and clean, do it yourself at home, and that goes for all automated washes

(and the next time i used a groupon voucher for a comedy gig.. well.. what a disaster.. i have never used groupon since, or any other voucher company)

btw this all happened a week after i had given my car the full treatment at home, wash, clay-bar, wash, wax, polish, protective sealant, wax again etc a 36hr job

Went through it two weeks ago and it was beading well afterwards. And the car hasn't had anything used on it in months.

You've been unlucky with vouchers it would seem. The wash sounds terrible. but what was so bad about the comedy gig? I had one and didn't use it.

I use vouchers from that menupages place for restaurants from time to time and they have some good deals going. I used groupon to buy a 2 hour IBT bike lesson, but never used it :( so that sucked, but was my own fault. I used a company called todays deals to buy a 1TB usb external hard drive and a 16GB usb stick for about €30, which was great value. I've used one called Red Ribbon for a hotel and massage deal and used it. Overall, i've had good experiences, but I wouldn't impulse buy. I would only buy the deal if it's actually something I genuinely want. Normally I will wait a few hours before deciding. There are so many deals i'm glad I didn't just jump at. Sorry for going OT.

I used Washworld for a groupon or similar valet last year, they did a decent enough job considering it wasn't a paint correction or anything close to it, nor was it meant to be :)

I find those groupon, citydeal, boardsdeals, pigsback etc deals pretty good if they suit you. Great deals on hotels and grub etc from time to time.
