Whatever came of Digiweb's 4G mobile plans?

    With news that Everything Everywhere are launching a 4G mobile service in the UK soon I remembered news a few years back that Digiweb were planning on doing the same. After digging about the net a bit I found this link dated May 2007:

    Does anyone know what came of these plans?

    The equipment they proposed to use was no longer being manufactured and the rollout froze around 2008 or 2009.

    I thought the tech was just the same as wimax and the coverage was Dublin-centric?
