Monoxide. :) For CO2 you can just suck on an exhaust... wait, is my commute making me a faster cyclist? Sweet!

It's what Team Sky are doing with their hypoxic tents .. I'm lead to believe.

Damnit, I'm so hypoxic I can't even type.

I've had my head stuck in a gas boiler flue for the last half hour.

I'm calling shenanigans on this one. (although it may be genuine). While theoretically you may generate new red blood cells, this is only because the old red blood cells are bound to the Carbon Monoxide and therefore not available for oxygen transport. Can't see any benefit in it myself.

Yeah, I was forwarded the details last weekend of what their doing, did a bit of research on it and turns out that a former British Olympic Cyclist Shaun Wallace was at the forefront of using these tents to simulate altitude training etc.

I passed the details onto http://www.sportsscientists.com/ to see what they could come up with, but obviously someone's passed them to Myles in Bike Pure and he's run with it.
